AMPLIFIED 2015 | Job 1:8 The LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered and reflected on My servant Job? For there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God [with reverence] and abstains from and turns away from evil [because he honors God]." |
Subject: a righteous man |
Bible Note: Darktanianxx As I said I'm not sure what that was all about. We were discussing whether Satan thought he could kill God, not the gospel message. No I do not have anything against you or anyone else explaining the gospel to someone else. I praise God for those that do. I'm not sure I understand why the churches are all split. I understand how it occurred, basically man having freed themselves from one church head refused to allow anyone else to take that place. Remember the Reformation started in the age of enlightenment, where each man thought himself capable of defining for himself what he would and would not believe. Like minded men sought each other out and they formed a new church. Am I saying the reformation was wrong? No! It was needed I’m just not sure the results were in the best interest of church, however God has allowed it to happen therefore He must have a reason of which I know nothing of. Why did this happen as I said I have no idea. I heard one man explain this was God’s way to keep the church from becoming too powerful. Can you imagine what one Christian church would look like. The money and the power it would wield would be almost uncontrollable and I doubt if any man or group of men could head that much power and not be totally corrupted. EdB |
