Bible Note: Darktanianxx Darktanianxx Yes Jesus the man did die, but Satan didn’t kill Him. Satan may have started the chain events that lead to Jesus’ death but the last thing Satan wanted was for Jesus to die. Satan knew he was the Lamb of God and if Jesus died man would have a way to salvation. Satan wanted Jesus to fail, to save himself, to be totally rejected, to even worship him but Satan did not want Jesus to die. Satan saw that things were going out of control so he had Pilate try to free Jesus, then later he sent his henchmen to try to get Jesus to come down off the cross. The cross was Satan’s defeat and he knew it. Jesus’ death opened a door that Satan can not close and Satan knew it. Think about that. EdB |
