NASB | Job 1:8 The LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil." |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Job 1:8 The LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered and reflected on My servant Job? For there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God [with reverence] and abstains from and turns away from evil [because he honors God]." |
Subject: a righteous man |
Bible Note: satan is the father of the wicked, is he not? God is the father of the righteous, is He not? Did not the children of the evil one kill God on the cross? Did not Jesus tell them that they are of their father the devil, and the works of their father they will do; because he was a murderer from the beginning.......... I don't understand why you refuse to see that? You proclaim that I don't use scipture to back up my claims, while you yourself use pure conjecture. |
