1 | a righteous man | Job 1:8 | Makarios | 58473
Darktanianxx, Jesus did NOT die on the cross as a result of some triumph of Satan, who is subjected (controlled by) to God. Jesus died on the cross because of the judgment and oppression that WE faced, not Him. He died for US, not because He was in any way FORCED to do so by Satan... Blessings to you, Makarios |

I never said satan forced Him to die. The parable of the vinyard tells of the MOTIVE of their heart. It was also the motive of their father the devil.

Greetings Darktanianxx, Satan cannot kill God. In no way does John 13:27 justify what you are saying. Satan cannot kill God.. God threw Satan to the earth (Ezekiel 28:18). Satan was cast from his place of authority by God (Luke 10:18, Jude 6, Isaiah 14:12). Satan will be decisively cast out of heaven forever (Revelation 12:9), be bound by Christ (Revelation 20:3), and be cast into the lake of fire (Matthew 25:41, Revelation 20:10). You see, Satan cannot attack God. Satan cannot hurt God in any way. The Very Fact that God places boundaries on Satan's activities with Job in Job 1-2 gives us the very convincing proof that we need! By observing the limits that God gives to Satan in Job 1-2, we see that the Lord can even "control" Satan! However, since Satan cannot attack the Lord, he tries to destroy the very next best thing: believers! (Ephesians 6:11-12). Satan tries to oppress us with the ferociousness of a hungry lion (1 Peter 5:8), seeks to plant doubt in our minds (Genesis 3:1-5), and he seeks to foster spiritual pride in our hearts (1 Timothy 3:6). Satan seeks to lead us away from "the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ" (2 Corinthians 11:3). However, we have an Advocate in heaven who intercedes for us (Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:25), and He intercedes to the Father to keep us safe from the evil one (John 17:15). And the Lord has provided "spiritual armor" for our defense (Ephesians 6:11-18). If we know the enemy's tactics (2 Corinthians 2:11), then we can be alerted to his attacks (1 Peter 5:8). We can resist Satan, and he will flee (James 4:7). 1 John 4:4 "Little children, you are of God, and have overcome them; for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." Jesus Christ is GREATER than Satan ever has, or ever will be! Blessings to you, Makarios |

Wanting to kill God and being able too are two different things!!! Please understand that I know satan cannot ultimately kill God!..... Satan did enter Judas for the purpose of killing God. Jesus allowed him and his children to kill Him in the flesh on the cross. It is spiritually impossible to kill God, but satan is going to gather the armies of the world together and try. he wants God to die......... Again people, I know that satan cannot kill God again!
