1 | a righteous man | Job 1:8 | EdB | 58442
Darktanianxx Okay and you read 1 Cor. 3:19-20 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. For it is written, "He is THE ONE WHO CATCHES THE WISE IN THEIR CRAFTINESS"; 20and again, "THE LORD KNOWS THE REASONINGS of the wise, THAT THEY ARE USELESS." Proverbs 16:25 There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. EdB |

I am not talking about the wisdom of this world Ed. I am talking about the knowledge of the Son of God and His wisdom.
3 | a righteous man | Job 1:8 | EdB | 58448
Darktanianxx Not to be insulting but I don't know any other way to say it, I truely don't know what you are talking about. You made a statement that Satan is trying to kill God. I said I don't see that in scripture. I see Satan trying to mess with God's creation, I see his rebellion to God, but a being as clever as Satan is, and the fact he moves in the spiritual realm, Satan has to understand it is impossible to kill God. Therefore I conclude Satan must have some other ulterior motive of which we know nothing about. I say that actions of Satan in Job prove that point. He responds to God, he only does what God allows, and he answers politely when spoken to. You disagree with that and that is okay, although to continue a meaningful debate you need to show some scriptural support for you presumption that Satan is trying to kill God. I hope again your not claiming some supernatural knowledge that isn't scripturally verified. EdB |

4 | a righteous man | Job 1:8 | Darktanianxx | 58455
everything I have said is scripturally verified. ....... I am trying to leave that conversation about satan, and build on it through the knowlege of Jesus. If I know where you are on the knowlege of Jesus and His purpose and plan; then I will know why you think satan does not want to destroy God........It's his nature.
5 | a righteous man | Job 1:8 | Makarios | 58456
Darktanianxx, Why is it that you need to know where EdB is spiritually (status) before you give him the chapter and verse that you are referring to? What does that have to do with your statement? - Makarios |
