Bible Note: Greetings Alien Resident! I only have one problem with your postion my friend. You view it as the 'right' way without any Scriptural mandate and seek to impose it upon others. Look at the inflammatory words that you use. You equate 'voting' with 'fighting'. Voting is not fighting. Voting is simply expressing one's choice. You also wrote: "The political process begins with voting, which doesn't seem excessive, but it will ultimately sidetrack our seeking first the Kingdom and His righteousness." So, do you view yourself as more 'spiritual' than those of us who vote? How can you possibly say that my voting has 'sidetracked' my 'seeking first' of the Kingdom of God? You don't know us my friend! By the way, Rom. 13:1 literally says, '...for there is no authority except from God'. So, this verse certainly doesn't say that God only allows rullers to rule. He is the source of their authority. If you can make a Scriptural case for not voting, I would be happy to listen. Otherwise, not voting is simply your personal choice.
