You are correct but in fact short of rebellion they had no way to be political activists. At the time Rome ruled and you either went Rome's way or you died as a rebel. However I do believe had they been able to cast a vote they would have supported the man or party that was most closely aligned with what the Bible said. For a Christian in the United States to ignore the election is paramount to being lifeless, dead, salt that has lost its flavor. Jesus said if you deny me before men I will deny you before the father. We are called to be light and salt to this world, our decisions should be influenced by one thing God's word not our pocketbook, not what would benefit us most here on earth. Every Christian should stand up and be counted (by their vote) saying we support life, we support morals, we support the man while he may be not perfect comes the closest to holding ot God's word.
