Personal profile for user screen name: Glory Bound I believe in the Word as "a whole" without the leaven of man.I believe that for some, the Word needs no interpretation, for there are those who, by the grace of God through the Holy Spirit, have been given a spirit of understanding concerning the Word. And that if one takes the Word in it's entirety it is self interpreting, yet I know that, although there are many who would have us believe otherwise, there are none who know it all. Not even where the Word of God is concerned. I feel that by His grace, I have been blessed with a spirit of understanding where the Word is concerned. I would challenge all to test me. I do not claim to know it all where the Word is concerned, but what I do know, I know to be FACT, and I know it well, and can, and will provide scripture to back it up. I am an Exhorter in heart, for I would not have my beloved brethren to be led astray, or to perish due to their lack of knowledge or the misleading of the many FALSE PROPHETS of this day and time.. As it is concerning the watchman on the wall in the 33rd chapter of Ezekiel, I feel it is my duty to warn my brethren when I see that they are on the wrong path. I will warn them, but I can convince them of nothing, for it is by the Holy Spirit, or the lack thereof that they will accept or refuse the truth. My favorite verse is 2 Timothy 2:15. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. I am diligently attempting to adhere to 2Ti 2:24-26 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. May God bless all who read. It is my prayer that we will be mutually enriching where His Word is concerned. Though I love and use the King James Version, I do not believe that it is the only true interpretation of Gods Holy Word. I do believe that it is through ignorance that others profess that it is. I use the KJV, NIV and Interlinear Hebrew, Greek and English Versions of scripture. My Electronic References are provided by eSword, which in my opinion is to scripture what Windows is to the computer, and it is FREE... I know that there are other “versions” of scripture out there, many which are no more than tools of the ENEMY, which will fool many, yet also I remember what it was that our Savior told the disciples in Mar 9:40: For he that is not against us is on our part. If it is true to scripture and gives you a desire to get into the word, use it. But if you do not use the KJ or NIV, which without a doubt ARE INSPIRED TRANSLATIONS, I would strongly suggest that first and foremost, you pray and ask that the Holy Spirit lead you to the TRUTH of the WORD. Please be forewarned, I do not believe in "Political Correctness." What is Biblically correct, is most often, not Politically Correct. I have no desire, nor intention to be conformed with the world, it's ways nor those of whom simply profess. If you do not agree with what I state, challenge me to prove it scripturally. When I do, do not attempt to argue the Word with me, I will discuss it, but I am only the messenger, not the originator.
