Bible Note: alienresident Once again you confuse issues. God's sovereignty and us doing nothing are diametrically opposed to each other rather than working in concert. Because God is sovereign does not mean we should sit back and be spectators. God has called us to be active and alive. He told us to respect and not rebel against our leadership but He never said don’t take part in the selection process if given a chance. Your right many fine Christians did die resisting Hitler however there was an a higher percentage that choose to do nothing. And an even higher percentage that refused to get involved when they could make a difference. Perhaps Hitler wasn’t God’s choice at all but God allowed him to become Germany’s leader because the Christians within Germany refused to stand for God. In the Old Testament we see this many times, God has a better way but when His people refuse to take action they know to be correct God allows them to suffer the consequences of their action. Perhaps if Christians in the nation had rose up and fought abortion when they could perhaps we wouldn’t be where we are today. No just because God is Sovereign is not an excuse for us to do nothing.
