If we avoid politics, then the devil wins for sure. We can't keep our heads in the sand. We have to know the issues and VOTE for the person w/the most Godly principles. Country Girl just gave an Edmund Burke quote that says it all. If we do nothing, Satan automatically wins. God gives us goverments, we ought to make sure they stay Godly. Christians were silent and prayer was taken out of schools, Christians were silent and abortion became legal, now homosexuals want to marry, are we going to keep letting Satan run rampant??? If we don't exercise our right to vote and get out and vote someone in who will stand up for Godly principles, we deserve what we get. Sure, we pray but we act too. Faith w/o actions is dead... |

Greetings Norrie! Prayer isn't simply an add on, it is the most powerful and useful thing we can do in any situation. :-) Also, I don't recall Christians being silent on abortion, prayer in school, or homosexual marriage. We have spoken out loudly about all of these issues. However, our voices were bypassed by courts making law instead of ruling on law. I understand what you are saying about being involved and I agree. However, I just want to make sure that we don't fall into the trap of believing that our 'vote' is the most cruical thing and that our 'prayers' are simply an add on after we have tried everything else. :-) Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

Oh no, I believe prayer is #1. It just seems like some thing that's all there is and we still need action. | ||||||
