Here's that article: The Chairman’s Report By Carter L. Clews September 6, 2004 Smoke ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Islam… Islam… Islam… Islam… Islam… Islam is the single greatest threat to peace, freedom, and human life in the world today, and maybe even in our entire history; not “radical Islam,” not “hijacked Islam,” not “Islam perverted by a handful of fanatics”... Islam... period. There, I’ve said it – and I’m glad I did, because somebody has to. Either the Moslem world has to eschew the monsters who are wreaking such havoc in its name – or it has to sincerely question the basic tenants of a religion that would spawn such demon seed. There is no middle ground. Anyone who doubts that contention need only ask the grieving parents of the little children slain in the latest Islamic assault upon innocent victims. The sight of the bodies of those stripped, tortured, and slaughtered school children being carried from the carnage is enough to make any normal human sick. But it only excites the libidos and wets the appetites of the venal – and venerated -- apostles of Islam. John Kerry’s "limp-wristed", “Let’s fight a more sensitive war” statement can never apply in this war on terror because, Islam is not – repeat not – the religion of love. Maybe the Koran is actually a masterpiece of "make nice" -- And maybe Mohammed was the walking embodiment of "warm and fuzzy" -- But today’s Islam – the Islam that brutally slaughters all who dare disagree with one jot of its abhorrent teachings – is most certainly not the religion of love. Now, I can already hear the liberals whining about “bigotry,” “stereotyping,” and “sensitivity training.” Well, tell it to the Marines. And when you do, ask them how it feels to see crazed Moslems blow up buses full of innocent commuters – or gun down unarmed construction workers and hang their burned bodies from bridge abutments -- while the Mullahs and the masses cheer them on. The fact is, until the world’s practicing Moslems take to the streets to openly and angrily condemn their fellow "crazoids", they bear the blame and deserve the shame for the Islamic slaughters in Russia, Iraq, Iran, the Philippines, Indonesia, Israel, Spain, New York City -- and everywhere else today’s Islam rears its savage, brutal, bloodthirsty head. Let me be even more specific (and see if I can cause some liberal apoplexy). As far as the average observer can tell (folks like you and me), there are only four types of Moslems in today’s world: terrorists, those who incite terrorists, those who condone terrorists -- and that little tiny minority who on the very rarest of outrageous occasions meekly pipes up in muted protest. That, part and parcel, warp and woof, heart and soul is the only Islamic “look of love” the vast majority of us ever see. And it makes us sick. And so, we have to wonder, whose fault is that? Mine for noticing -- Yours for agreeing -- Or is it the fault of the world’s veiled and voiceless Moslems who won’t stand up and stop the slaughter? I think we all know the answer to that one. But, just in case you don’t (and to silence the liberals I can already hear hissing “racist” – or whatever other term they have for those who insist upon telling inconvenient, incontrovertible truths), let me tell you a little story from my own family history… In the 1930s, when Al Capone, Frank Nitti, and their band of bloody Italian terrorists threatened to rip the fabric of American society, they sent an emissary to see my immigrant grandfather, one Vincenzo Marciano of Washington’s Italian ghetto. The Black Hand’s hit man advised Granddad that he and his neighbors needed to set aside some of their hard-earned money each week to buy a little protection from the "Americanos" who were trying to take what they had. Well, Granddad asked for a little time to talk with his neighbors. He did so. And when the putrid punk returned, he told him, “You are a disgrace to our people and to all who struggled to come to this wonderful land. Here is the message for you to take to your capos: If you ever come here again, we will mail you back in little pieces. And if they come seeking revenge, we will hang them from the lamp posts. Now, leave while you still can.” In short, the only people who could truly fight Italian terrorism in the 1930s were the very people who did. And as the grandson of one who stood tall then, I don’t think it’s too much for me to ask the world’s Moslems to stand tall now. If they don’t, then, let’s start again at the top line -- until they get the bottom line: Islam is the single greatest threat to peace, freedom, and human life in the world today. And maybe even in our entire history. Now, put that in your "hubble bubble pipe" and smoke it, Akbar. And call us back when your get a clear head -- and heart. Carter Clews |

Hi, Norrie! This is of course frustration placed into text! I remember seeing the masses gathering outside in broad daylight celebrating the destruction of the twin towers... these people were a mix of mostly adults and young adults to children, adolescent and senior citizens... these were supposedly not extemists; these people were, believe if or not, a cross-sectiong of Islam (haters of all infidels--which is their synonym for Americans/Jews/Westerners)... I also remember reading, roughly a year later, a local newspaper story about some tribe in Africa that offered to send their most valued possessions (a few heads of cows) to America to helps us cope with the terrible assault on our nation... these extemely impoverished people had just heard the news (about a year later) and they did not celebrate hatred but compassion! They offered what quantifies as financial aide in the millions! The story did not speak of their chastisement against the murderous terrorist organism... but their gesture spoke volumes on life and love! Carter Clews may be sounding off to ears that just don't give a damn! It is almost as our system of corporate self-policing: government regulation--less abuse all around, including less airplains dropping like flies; deregulation--vultures and vampires stripping the flesh and sucking the blood out of every industry, including airplains and shuttles dropping like flies do to poor management and substandard parts and labor... to expect that Muslems will police their extremist members is just as productive as hoping that our industries reform and stop bankrupting America! God Bless! Angel |

Yep, we (general) can't even recognize sin so how are we going to denounce it when kids are being taught relativity and no moral absolutes in school, then they grow up and have kids...even many Christians don't understand sin. Sometimes I wonder exactly who Jesus will be coming back to get as His bride-I think poor Jesus! | ||||||

Hi, Norrie! Jesus was well aware of these problems even them: ...But when the Son of man comes, will he find any faith on earth? (Luke 18:8) It is for them that I pray. I am not praying for the world but for those you have given me, because they belong to you. I am not asking you to remove them from the world, but to protect them from the Evil One. I pray not only for these but also for those who through their teaching will come to believe in me. (John 17:9, 15, 20) Though He came to rescue us from death, He did not come to neutralize our will (willpower, resolve, etc.)... this is why He cautioned: those who have eyes... those who have ears... It is our choice to follow Christ or the world... I think that Christians lose it when we attempt to modernize Scripture by conforming Jesus' Word to interpretations that patronizes the world; we are only fooling ourselves by thinking that the creature will outmaneuver the Creator--it did not work for Lucifer nor Adam nor Cain nor the rebellious people of Israel nor the Masters of the Law, Sadducees, and Pharisees! We are not called to judge nor convert the world... our task is simplicity in itself: 'Son of man I have appointed you as watchman for the House of Israel. When you hear a word from my mouth, warn them from me. If I say to someone wicked, "Evildoer, you are to die." and you do not speak to warn the wicked person to renounce such ways, the wicked person will die for this guilt, but I shall hold you responsible for the death. If, however, you do warn someone wicked to renounce such ways and repent, and that person does not repent, then the culprit will die for this guilt, but you yourself will have saved your life. (Ezekiel 33:7-9) God is not concerned with what the world does; He is solely concerned with what we, who choose to call ourselves His children, do! (Matthew 5:20) He knows that we cannot convert a single person to Him--still He expects us to bring the Good News to all, and to warn them of the impending doom that sin visits onto all! We are called to be the voice in the desert: the cry that announces Salvation in Jesus Christ! Yet, as you mentioned, we refuse to recognize sin and we are quick to run to the latest fads that teaches us to hate Christ!: 'Anyone who is not with me is against me; and anyone who does not gather with me throws away.' (Luke 11:23) Our task is clear: profess Christ, live Christ, teach Christ, and allow the world to decide if they are for Christ or against Him! All the relativism, absolutism, hatred, and extremism in the world cannot separate us from Christ! (Romans 8:35-39) God Bless! Angel |
