1 | Denounce militant Islam? | Matt 5:44 | EdB | 131614
Norrie You and I have talked about this before and as I said then I will say again. The biggest problem is ignorance. Most Christians don't know what they believe let alone what a Muslim believes. Most people today have no understanding of Christianity or Islam other than what they receive from TV, Radio, and Movies. And that doesn't mean their listening to news programs or intelligent talk commentators. No they are learning their information from SNL, Mad TV or Michael Moore movies their listening to junk spewed by Howard Stern, Don Immus or Bubba the Love sponge. They don’t know the word Islam unless it was used in a joke putting Christians down. It is said that a very high percentage of Christian have never read the Bible through. If they don’t care enough to find out what God really said what makes us think they are going to care about Islam? EdB |

2 | Denounce militant Islam? | Matt 5:44 | Norrie | 131616
Ed, You better keep a close eye on Ivan, he might just be the one to take down Disnetworld! Of course he might take us out instead too but stay alert! You're right tho, people are ignorant. If nobody takes the time to find out what exactly the problems are, how can they be solved? All we hear is Islam is a peaceful religion when they are "pieceful", want a piece of everybody...people don't seem to know or care what they are up to and are so intent on being politically correct, guess when they are handed their head, they'll figure it out. :( Norrie |

3 | Denounce militant Islam? | Matt 5:44 | EdB | 131617
Norrie This generation can be convinced of anything. I imagine they could have been convinced that the Japanese Kamikaze pilots were really misguided youth instead of examples of the thinking of the Japanese people of the time. Or that the attack on Pearl Harbor was the act of a fringe group rather than the act of a nation of people that wanted to eliminate us. We have no understanding of such a mind set. EdB |
