Subject: Isn't Baptism neccessary for salvation?? |
Bible Note: Thank you, You are right, but there is more. "For if we have been united with Him in the likeness of his death, certainly we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection." (Romans 6). John's baptism was 'for the forgiveness of sins.' New Testament baptism is too (Acts 2:38). A couple of verses later shows that when you receive the word, you get baptzed, and then are ADDED to the body of the saved, the church. |
