Bible Note: Greetings Colin! As long as one does not reject Christ, one is saved. Sin can and does have consequences though. It can ruin our testimony and effectiveness as a Christian. It can hinder our growth in Christ. It can even harden our hearts to the point that we would reject Christ. So, I am not claiming that sin is acceptable for a Christian. But, I am saying that we do not earn our salvation based upon anything that we do, nor can we lose our salvation based upon anything that we do. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
