Bible Question (short): Born from above: spirit or Spirit? |
Question (full): I have penciled in my personal copy of the Scriptures a lower case "spirit" for this verse, John 3:5. Consider these words of truth and spirit with me. Luke 2:51, "And He went down with them, and came to Nazareth; and He continued in subjection to them; and (His) mother treasured all these things in her heart." John 3:10, "(Jesus) answered and said to him, "Are you the teacher of Israel and do not understand these things?" Jesus said that He had to be involved "in the things of My Father". Luke 2:49 Do you think that these passages are talking about the affairs of "spiritual" things, heavenly things? Do you think that we are born from above by words of spiritual witness?
