Subject: Verses where water alone means baptism? |
Bible Note: Greetings Dalcent! The term can also refer to the 'washing' itself, not just the tank! It is very similar to they way that we in America speak of 'taking a bath'. 'Bath' is a noun, but it is used to convey a verbal idea. So, it is certainly possible that Titus 3:5 is not a reference to baptism, just as it is also certainly possible that it is a reference to baptism. p.s. - I kept a straight face the whole time! :-) Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
