1 | Do you yet say that Jesus was just a man | John 9:24 | Ray | 55249
Hi Kalos, It is a matter of capitalization again. If a person is capitalizing pronouns such as "Him" then he is acknowledging His Deity. But if one speaks of "him", then I need to find out if this person believes in His Deity. The person very well could believe thus, but it wouldn't be as obvious. Our speech can give away our beliefs also. If I listen to a person in conversation and hear "f" words every few words and God's name in vain every once in a while, then I have to wonder about His being a Christian. On the other hand, if in the conversation I learn from his words of testimony that he is a believer then I can take him at his word until his actions speak louder. So no, we don't have to capitalize pronouns of Deity in our writings; but if one wants to praise Him each time we write of Him, then one can do that by capitalization. From the heart, Ray |

3 | Do you yet say that Jesus was just a man | John 9:24 | Ray | 55319
Hi christian7, I like to see you do it. You will be blessed by it and as you have said, He is worthy. Have you considered reading Hebrews in the NKJ version? The NASB is good also, of course, and is my favorite; but the NKJ capitalizes a few more pronouns in Hebrews. From the heart, Ray |
