Subject: Do you yet say that Jesus was just a man |
Bible Note: Hi srbaegon, This is a good thread to look at capitalization. Would you not agree that Jesus is the glorified One? Isaiah 6:3, "And one [angel] called out to another and said, "Holy, Holy, Holy, is the (Lord) of hosts, The whole earth is full of *His glory."..verse 5 For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts." Revelation 3:6, "'He who has an ear, let him hear what the (Spirit) says to the churches.' And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: *He who is holy, who is true,..." Who is the King but the King who died on the cross for us? Revelation 6:10, "How long, O (Lord), holy and true, wilt Thou refrain from judging and avenging..." 1 John 5:20, "...in order that we might know (Him) who is true, and we are in *Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God/ and eternal life." John 17:3, "And this is eternal life, that they may know Thee, the only true (God), and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent." John 8:15, "You people judge according to the flesh; I am not judging anyone. But even if I do judge, (My) judgment is true; for I am not alone it it, but I and He who sent Me." John 8:23, "And He was saying to them, "You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, (I) am not of this world." This Man says that He is not of the world and goes further and claims "I am He". Are we looking for what is true? John 18:19, "And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they themselves may be sanctified in truth." I want to see Him sanctified in our words. From the heart, Ray |
