Bible Question:
NKJ, John 9:24, "So they again called the man who was blind, and said to him, "Give God the glory! We know that this Man is a sinner." 1 Peter 2:21, "...leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps, WHO COMMITTED NO SIN, NOR WAS ANY DECEIT FOUND IN HIS MOUTH." When comparing these verses, why would someone still say today that Jesus was just a man? From the heart, Ray |
Bible Answer: No He is God. Joh 1:1 ¶ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God. Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. The verse that you quoted He (Jesus Christ) was in the formed of man. Php 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Php 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: Even God the Father revealed that Christ is God Heb 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
