Subject: What was the answer? |
Bible Note: Yes, I realized later that radioman had responded. Yesterday my attentions were divided and that is not a good time to get into a 'deep' discussion. Forgive me for the error. I do not agree with your conclusion because 1.God could have spoken to Saul through other prophets,(or a donkey) scripture says Saul sought this. 2. For God to choose to use a medium which He has forbidden places Him in the position of compromiseing His word and also would make the statement that He communicates through mediums encouraging people to seek them out. This would be a violation of God's own command NOT to seek mediums. The medium was not a prophet of God, but rather a servant of Satan at the time. Whether she turned or not later is not stated. This occcurance clearly conveys the message that Satan had authority to beckon souls from the dead because they were still under his jurisdiction due to the fall of Adam. Although they died in faith, until Jesus redeemed them, they were held captive. God bless |
