On the forum I am known as Itiswritten,
For any who may be interested, I am middle aged, I have known Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior for 25 plus years. I was born to a Jewish mother and Irish Roman Catholic father. I now consider myself an Evangelical and these years favor Assemblies of God Churches or Non-Denominational Churches where the Word of God is predominant and the power of God is accepted as the norm for the Church today.
After walking with the Lord for about seven years and growing and learning from His Word, the Lord called me to begin a Bible study for Roman Catholics, as they generally are not given much of a Bible education and having been raised in the Roman Catholic faith as a child, I had an understanding of where they are coming from.
I now have known the Lord and walked with Him for over 30 years. Recently I have had the privilege of leading two Bible studies which are non-denominational. I sincerely pray that I do my homework well, use my experience and allow the Holy Spirit to lead the studies.
In any case, through these studies I have been blessed to see many come to the Lord for the first time and many blessed and growing in the Lord through the fellowships I have been priviledged to be a part of.
When I found this forum I thought, since I love the Lord and His word, my experience may be of some help to someone else. Not that I consider myself an expert, but just by reason of my age and experience, I have learned some things through my years with the Lord and these things may help some other persons. I also find that being involved in this forum sharpens my understanding of the Word through my interaction with the Lord's people, as I also learn from them and through what I observe from many of the questions and answers this forum puts forth.
I have picked the name "Itiswritten" because I hope it conveys the high esteem I have for the Word of the Lord and that I do not wish to give my opinions so much as I hope to be able to share what the Lord has shown me of His word and His answers to everyday problems and situations. I hope this is sufficient to satisfy the curious. Itiswritten
