Subject: greatfullydead, then what word is it? |
Bible Note: greatfullydead, I was hoping you would do this. disciplerami, here is some of my own work (research). In Mark 7:4 and Hebrews 9:10, the word is baptismou;ß (baptismos). It is translated baptisms in Hebrews 6:2. This connects the purifcation of the OT with NT baptism ... by washing. Baptismos is a noun masculine. It is from the word found in Luke 11:38, which is baptivzw (baptizo) ... the same word found Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38 and 76 other places. Baptizo is verb. Take note of the differences in the parts of speech. Searcher |
