Subject: When did the catholic church go wrong? |
Bible Note: Joe I thank you for you input. However on the issue of doctrinal differences I either have seen the worst or at least the most out spoken. Many believe and teach that Pentecostals are doomed to hell since they participate in what the many consider a Satanic counterfeit of what ceased with the age of the apostles. Many Pentecostals believe you must be baptized in the Holy Spirit to be saved, and if you don’t hold with outward manifestations you are committing the unpardonable sin by denying the Holy Spirit. Many believe that a church with women pastors are of Satan. Many believe that churches/denominations that would ordain homosexuals are of Satan. Many believe if the Pastor is paid that church is lost. Many believe that if a church/denomination allows divorced men or women in the ministry it is doomed to hell’s fire. There are many that think you a Catholic you going to hell. Just as those that think all Protestants will. I think you see where I’m going. The forum has been blessed by many different denominations and beliefs and we realize these differences, but we join through certain central truths and have unity. However the world outside this forum does not. If you were pagan that lived between a hard line Baptist and roll in aisles Pentecostal you would hear that person is of the devil and we are right or that person denies the Holy Spirit and is going to hell. Would you want any part of Christianity? EdB |
