Bible Note: Graceful Will you agree that Christ died for our sins and healed us spiritually? If so once we believe in Christ and stay in the faith are we ever spiritually sick again? The answer is no. If physical healing is in the atonement then no Christian should ever get physically sick provided they stay in the faith. Yet we know Bill Bright a great Christian just recently died of lung disease. He must have had faith enough for spiritual healing but not for physical. If physical healing is in the atonement like spiritual healing when we become saved and experience our spiritual healing we should also be healed yet we know Joni Eckerson Tada was spiritually healed however she is still confined to a wheel chair. Therefore we clearly see the two healings have different workings even if they are provided in the atonement (and I'm not saying they are. Now what is different? One always happens salvation however the other doesn't always. I say the reason is God never intended every Christian to be sickness free. Therefore God provided scripture taht tells us Christians what to do if we do get sick. You say it is a lack of faith. However you can't show me where God said if you lack faith and get sick here is what to do. EdB |
