Bible Note: I apologize for not including scriptural reference for that last part. Also i did not mean the spelling part as an attack and I apologise, now that i read it it does seem a little rude, so i would once again like to ask your forgiveness for that. As you can see my spelling is never perfect either. nor am I, that is why i do enjoy listening to other's interpretations of the bible, perhaps they have seen something I have missed. But now on the subject of Jesus being with Elijah. John 1: 1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." I think we can both agree that Jesus is eternal and has been with God and in God since the beginning. Now here is the part where we may differ. Genesis 3: 8 "Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden." Now it is my interpretation that this is God in his physical form, which is Jesus. This is where I gain my belife that God (Jesus) was walking with them. Finally it says in Exodus 33: 20 "But," he said, "you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live." The only way it is possible for us to see God is in the form of Jesus. Genesis 5: 24 "Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away." If he had seen God the father, he surely would have died, so it must have been Jesus who came down to take him away. I hope this is a little better explained than before. God bless and once again i apologize for my tempermental answer earlier. |
