Bible Note: The dead in Christ shall rise first. Anyone claiming any other gospel is a false prophit. However... This has nothing to do with your original question, which was: "According to the Bible, the penality for sin is death. Therefore, every human being must die! Did God make an exception for Elijah to escape death? Your comments, please." --- If you are seriously asking a question, I have given you the biblical answer, which was; "Death of the body is not what this scripture refers to. If it were, once you died, the penalty for your sins would be paid. The death the scripture refers to here is "Eternal Damnation in the lake of fire." If I am not badly mistaken, this is also referred to as the second death." --- What you have just stated was totally out of context with your original question. Since it has already been answered, any further discussion on this particular question would be senseless. God Bless George |
