Bible Note: Thank you.I read a book called Rabbi Jesus. I am half- way done with it. It has such tremendous insight about how Jesus lived. Why he was rejected by many people. Without God, I believe he could not have understood to be with God. God was his father and he found comfort and refuge with him. Just like we are suppssed to do but we all lose the sight of this. Today with everything we have been given, do we really understand how blessed we are??? He was middle class without a father. He was even rejected and casted out of his own temple, until he met John the Baptist. People could not read back then. Jesus' ideals were radical to people back then. I believe his tribulations back then reflected what kind of society we had back then too. Jesus did save us and that if the most precious gift that society takes for granted. Peolpe do feel they can do things without God. People pray and don't understand what they are asking. People fight and don't understand there fight. God wants us to be his children. Jesus only wants goodness for us. I feel that God knew what would happen if we ate the wrong foods. We would get fat. Because we get fat we have health problems and have diabetes,.etc. Any way I am rambling now. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. |
