Bible Question (short): Is praying aloud together Biblical? |
Question (full): Scripture ... 1 Cor 14:27-28 ................... I agree with "Paul never said not to pray out loud together" ... however, where in the Bible does it say we can pray aloud together? Have you read my posts (116386 and 48618)? If the "order of Church services in Pentecostal Churches" is not 100 PERCENT Biblical (the truth) it is trash. The BIBLE says only one person was to speak (and praying is included) one at a time and at the most three are to speak the entire service. If anyone speaks in a tongue, it should be by two or at the most three, and each in turn, and one must interpret; but if there is no interpreter, he must keep silent in the church; and let him speak to himself and to God" (1 Cor 14:27-28). I know for a fact that someone spoke in Greek John 3:16, then it was incorrectly interpeted. When the Greek speaker challenged the interpetation, what he said was verified by a member of the Pentecostal church, who was a Greek prof. |
