Bible Note: Dear Newwine, The fact that regeneration is used only twice in the Bible doesn't mean that the doctrine is not mentioned elsewhere. Indeed, the doctrine of the new birth finds extensive didactic discussion throughout Scripture. Perhaps a closer search might produce more fruit. John chapter 3 might be a good start.
