Subject: Two Natures or One? |
Bible Note: Dear Tim, It might be fruitful to talk a bit about our labels. If you simply posit a question, and charge off to resolve it exegetically and rhetorically, you run the risk of: (1) wasting time on an answer no one else can use; (2) burning straw dummies; (3) missing the actual sense of Scripture; (4) arriving at conclusions contrary to Scripture. So let us define the word "nature" and how we might bring it to bear at differing points in the salvific experience. After all, there may be instances where stating that people have "two natures" is Biblically valid and other instances where it contravenes the sense of Scripture. In Him, Doc |
