NASB | Romans 3:4 May it never be! Rather, let God be found true, though every man be found a liar, as it is written, "THAT YOU MAY BE JUSTIFIED IN YOUR WORDS, AND PREVAIL WHEN YOU ARE JUDGED." |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 3:4 Certainly not! Let God be found true [as He will be], though every person be found a liar, just as it is written [in Scripture], "THAT YOU MAY BE JUSTIFIED IN YOUR WORDS, AND PREVAIL WHEN YOU ARE JUDGED [by sinful men]." [Ps 51:4] |

Bible Note: Actually, Brad, I'm toying around with the idea of writing a book on how to teach your goldfish to walk and chew gum at the same time. I guarantee you it will be no less disappointing than Branham's prophecies were and will be perhaps even more spiritually edifying though not quite so droll as his bawdy tale of Eve's adulterous tryst with the serpent. If you'd like, I'll reserve you a copy of my book when it comes off the press and autograph it for free. Seriously, I ponder: Why would anyone wish to exhume the dusty old tomes of a false prophet whose work was never credible to begin with. Falsehood doesn't age well. It simply ages. I'd venture to say that few of the aficionados of this genre of pseudo-prophesy have more than a pale and sketchy idea of what the Bible is all about. --Hank |
