NASB | Romans 3:4 May it never be! Rather, let God be found true, though every man be found a liar, as it is written, "THAT YOU MAY BE JUSTIFIED IN YOUR WORDS, AND PREVAIL WHEN YOU ARE JUDGED." |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 3:4 Certainly not! Let God be found true [as He will be], though every person be found a liar, just as it is written [in Scripture], "THAT YOU MAY BE JUSTIFIED IN YOUR WORDS, AND PREVAIL WHEN YOU ARE JUDGED [by sinful men]." [Ps 51:4] |
Subject: Are all interpretations equal? |
Bible Note: The plain and simple truth is that not one of us has perfect understanding. Even those who penned the Scripture were fallible and prone to error and even to sin. We believe that the Word itself is perfect and infallible, not because of those great saints that wrote it, but because of the Holy Spirit who is the true Author of every jot and tittle. By the by..."All" does not always mean all, and I can prove it by Scripture. :-) John |
