Bible Question:
Cheri, But how does a change in lifestyle prove "without a shadow of a doubt" that one is saved and will remain so? |
Bible Answer: Answer: Hi lookn It sounds to me from all your questioning that we're not talking about "those others" but it seems someone is whispering condemnation in your ear and you're buying it. It is all 100percent faith in the work of Jesus. I'm sure there are times when any one of us doesn't "feel" saved. Those that are married don't always "feel" married but they are indeed. And we are indeed saved if we put Jesus first in all things. And we don't always hit the bull's eye, very often we fall flat on our faces and then it's very hard to "feel" saved and forgiven. We have to trust God's word then, pick ourselves up, brush off the dirt, pray about it, receive forgiveness and MOVE ON. We are STILL saved My motto: the bible says it, i believe it, and that settles it. Cheri |
