NASB | Isaiah 53:5 But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed. |
Subject: Is healing a guarantee?? |
Bible Note: Jesus said these signs shall follow them that believe..and followed it up by saying they will lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. I am not saying that God promised we would never physically die. But, God did promise that we lay hands on the sick and they recover. I have yet to see God go back on his word When I pray for people I pray with faith knowing that God is going to heal them PHYSICALLY NOW. And he Does. I am just flabberghasted at the faith or lack thereof with this conversation. You guys sound real intellegent and amaze me sometimes, but WOW! saying God doesn't heal All of your diseases makes this whole book non-sense. If he didn't mean one thing he didn't mean any of it. |
