AMPLIFIED 2015 | Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed. |
Subject: Is healing a guarantee?? |
Bible Note: Thisone: There is not a statement in all Scripture which teaches that Jesus suffered and died on the Cross so that our physical bodies could be healed every time they get out of whack. Jesus went to the Cross for one reason and one reason only, to be the propitiation for man's SIN. Rom. 5:8-11; 2 Cor. 5:18,19; Gal. 1:4; 1 John 2:2; 4:10. --Hank |
