AMPLIFIED 2015 | Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed. |
Subject: Is healing a guarantee?? |
Bible Note: Excellent answer Ed! God is more concerned with our spiritual being. This is something that I am hearing alot of lately and of course I know it is true but somehow it is ringing more and more true. We all try to extend our lives as you have said living in a world tainted with sin. This reminds me of Woody Allen's joke about the lady who complained about the food and then went on to say how there wasn't enough of it. Same thing... We have an eternity waiting for us being with the Lord! Praise God. Peace. |
