AMPLIFIED 2015 | Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed. |
Bible Question (short): What do YOU think? |
Question (full): Hello KdB, May I refer you back to my original question, it is not what I think that challenges the answer given but the wiser and more learned men than I. May I recommend Bible Gateway where, under study tools, there are commentaries from people like Matthew Henry and John Wesley, (about 14 at least), a good site. So, I ask my fellow Bible students, on balence in the light of this evidence, again I ask "what do YOU think?" I have my own view but as this is a forum and if answers are challenged, and the evidence for that challenge is presented to the forum then it is the members of the forum to enter into informed debate so that members can reach their own conclusion.
