AMPLIFIED 2015 | Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed. |
Bible Question (short): Healing |
Question (full): I have heard people try to say that Is 53:5 means that if we have the faith, we are healed of all sickness. I take it to mean that we are healed from the death and punishment that we deserve and are given the gift of eternal life. What is your take on the verse? |
