Subject: Divine Healing, True or False? |
Bible Note: Again, you are not reading what I'm writing with the mind that you are going to listen to my point. You just wrote something that I said was my whole reason for giving. I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to give to the Glory of God. But since you said we don't give to get, let's see here. When you give a Christmas present don't you expect to recieve something. You can't say you don't because everybody likes to get gifts. We received the gift of salvation because God said we could have it, it was for us. We are the righteousness of God (saints), we need to start acting like it. Back to giving and getting. The reason most people don't get anything is because after they give they don't expect God to reward them. God said he was a rewarder of those who dilligently seek him. The first part of the scripture says that whoever comes to God must believe that he is. Now if he is God and he is a rewarder, why is it wrong for his children to be rewarded for doing something he told them to do. Plant seeds in good ground. I would not plant a seed in a ministry that is not bringing forth good fruit. Plus I expect to be rewarded for keeping the commandment. If you gave a family a house full of groceries because God told you to but that was your last hundred dollars, you did it but you were not sure what God was doing. Wouldn't you expect God to reward you for that. Well I expect God to reward me for keeping his Kingdom moving. Keeping his TV shows on the air, keeping local ministries from going under while trying to get kids off the street. This is where the saints of God come in. Yes he can make a sinner give his money to the Church, but he shouldn't have to. We should be giving the Church so much that they don't have to borrow anything. I wish you all understood, since you don't I am not going to further this discussion when it is an attack on my belief and on scripture. I'M STILL STANDING on the TRUTH.
