My name is Margaret. These scriptures impact my daily life: I am crucified with Christ, neverthe less I live: yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life that I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loves me, and gave Himself for me, Gal. 2:20. Also, It is in Him that we live, and move and have our being, Acts 17:28. And Phil. 1:21, For me to live is Christ...

Over fifty years ago, I said yes to Jesus, and He saved me. I did not live like a Christian for much of my young adult life. For the past thirty years with the help of the Holy Spirit, I daily try to apprehend that (Jesus) for which I was apprehended.

I have been married (to the same person) for forty six years. We have two children, eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

I am a retired school teacher, but currently teach part-time at a boot camp.

For the last thirty years I have faithfully attended non-denominational congregations. I can count on one hand the number of Sundays and Wednesday nights that I have missed.

Currently, I am grieved at the state of the 21st century church. It is "lukewarm", and seemingly has left its first love, and teaching for doctrine the traditions of men. Pray with me for the universal church to rearrange her priorities.

I love this forum. I truly find brothers and sisters here who love the Lord and are students of the Word. I thank my Father that I was led here by the Spirit.

p.s. We are spirits (our inner man) which has no color...but, for those of you that like to deal with the outer members of our triune being, I am a Black woman, ethnically.
