1 | Please explain this verse? Mark 15:34 | Mark 15:34 | Bereaniam | 170450
Something to consider: Some say Jesus and God were separated because Jesus "became sin" when He bore the sins of the world. God said He would never leave us or forsake us. Where can we flee from His Spirit? Psalm 139. If Jesus "became sin" He would not be the spotless Lamb needed to be the sacrifice. Jesus knew all alone that He would have to die, so He was not questioning (or doubting) God when He asked, "...Why have You forsaken Me?" To doubt means there's no faith...and without faith it's impossible to please God. Just something to study...ponder. Bereaniam |

2 | Where does Paul say to follow him? | Mal 3:10 | Bereaniam | 166696
My Brother you are not the only one ignorant of this great revelation. My eyes were closed to this for many years. Read Phil. 4:9; Phil. 3:17; 1Tim 1:16; 1Cor. 4:15,16; Rom 2:16; Acts 9:15; Rom 11:13 for starters. May God give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation...may the eyes of your understanding be enlightened! In Him and He in me |

3 | Gross or Net Income/ | Mal 3:10 | Bereaniam | 166046
We are in the dispensation of Grace...not Law. Paul says many times he is our pattern, that we must follow him as he follows Christ, that his gospel will judge us Gentiles. Paul said the things you have learned, received, heard, and see me do...you do. Show me one time Jesus told Paul to tell us to tithe. Therefore, the gospel given directly to Paul from Jesus on Christian giving is: to give generously, not of necessity or grudginly, but cheerfully. Jesus never told Paul how much we are to give. If you want to give 50 percent off the gross or net, do it! But, it should not be done under the Law, lest you frustrate the Grace of God. We are not Jews! Read ALL of Malachi, not just chp. 3. You will see it was the priests who were robbing God, not the people. But those verses were written to Israel...read the 1st verse! Bereaniam |
