Subject: Divine Healing? |
Bible Note: Dear Jesified, I guess you were not able to offer any scripture that makes a positive affirmation concerning the will of God and healing. Please let me know if you find any (even one). You wrote: "As for you second question, I may exceed the total 5000 charactor limit, so I'll answer that one in a subsequent post." I guess it would take a lot of explaining (I don't want to be mean; I want to help you find the truth. Sometimes it requires frankness.) When you are a pastor you will have to deal with trajic deaths and nothing but the truth of God's Word will comfort the mourners. If all you can offer is that they did'nt have enough faith....well, that would be tragic as well. I suggest you look long and hard at the doctrines you are learning. Keep your mind open to the whole counsel of God. Read what your critics say and weigh it against Sccripture. Be a good Berean! John 16:33 "These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." tribulation: 1) a pressing, pressing together, pressure 2) metaph. oppression, affliction, tribulation, distress, straits (Strongs Concordance) God Bless You, John Reformed |
