jc, May I remind you that "spiritual arrogance" is not taught in scripture. What Paul admonishes us in Rom. 12: 16 is this: "Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation." May we all be of the same mind toward one another. A Merry Christmas to you:-) BradK |

Because I said I know the difference between being filled with the Holy Ghost and the Gift of Tongues. You call me arrogant. If I had made that statement to anyone in our Church that have received the Holy Ghost. Their reply would not have been how "arrogant" it more likely would have been "so can I". So we are of the same mind. |

jc, My apologies! I did not say directly that you were "arrogant". Your post, however did give the appearance of "spiritual arrogance" because you intimated that you and Paul knew something someone else did not. It was not communicated very clearly. I was not alone in arriving at that understanding. Possibly in dealing with such sensitive matter as this, we should strive to be more clearly understood. Thanks for clarifying.
