1 | Filled w/ Him always mean tongues? | 1 Cor 13:8 | Searcher56 | 140308 | ||
While only God knows it is true ... when one receives the Holy Ghost (Spirit) there are different reactions - from a dramatic scene to a stoic face. In Acts 4:8-17 did Peter speak in tongues, at that time? In Acts 4:31 was there speaking the word of God with boldness or in tongues? In Acts 9:17 and 13:9 did Paul speak in tongues, at that time? In Acts 13:52 is there any mention of speakling in tongues? Then, is there speaking in tongues related to being filled with the Holy Spirit (Eph 5:18)? |

In Acts 4:8-17 Peter is not recieving the Holy Ghosts.He is filled (FULL) with the Holy Ghost. Peter recieved the Holy Ghost in the upper room and yes, he did speak in tongues. As for Acts 4:31. I do believe that they did speak and that is omitted. However if God shakes the place. Who am I to argue. |
