You have so much to learn about tongues and the order of Church services in Pentecostal Churches. They follow 1 Cor 14 for the Purposes that Paul intended. Paul never said not to pray out loud together.
2 | Is praying aloud together Biblical? | 1 Cor 13:8 | Searcher56 | 140228
Scripture ... 1 Cor 14:27-28 ................... I agree with "Paul never said not to pray out loud together" ... however, where in the Bible does it say we can pray aloud together? Have you read my posts (116386 and 48618)? If the "order of Church services in Pentecostal Churches" is not 100 PERCENT Biblical (the truth) it is trash. The BIBLE says only one person was to speak (and praying is included) one at a time and at the most three are to speak the entire service. If anyone speaks in a tongue, it should be by two or at the most three, and each in turn, and one must interpret; but if there is no interpreter, he must keep silent in the church; and let him speak to himself and to God" (1 Cor 14:27-28). I know for a fact that someone spoke in Greek John 3:16, then it was incorrectly interpeted. When the Greek speaker challenged the interpetation, what he said was verified by a member of the Pentecostal church, who was a Greek prof. |

You are speaking of the Gift of tongues. Not one being filled with the Holy Ghost. You would not know the difference if you walked into the Church and God was filling them or refilling them with the Holy Ghost. Or that they had gifts of tongues and was exercising their gifts, in violation of what Paul instructed.

7 | Is praying aloud together Biblical? | 1 Cor 13:8 | jcsav | 140335
Because I speak the Truth and know what I am talking about. How do you think I know these things, by my own power as if I gave myself the Holy Ghost? Now, you probably think that I am even more arrogant. And boast in myself, and not in God. So, let God judge.
8 | Times people prayed together? | 1 Cor 13:8 | Searcher56 | 140337
Claiming to "speak the Truth and know what I am talking about" doesn't make it so. It is one reason I do not always side with the experts and more important check out what anyone says or writes with Scripture. Scripture is consistent. When I am in error in what I believe, I make adjustments. There are some minor issues which all sides can claim they know the truth, based on Scripture. In that case, I may change ... or not. All I asked is praying aloud together Biblical? Your first step is to see how many times people prayed together. Then was it ever out loud? |

10 | Times people prayed together? | 1 Cor 13:8 | Searcher56 | 140405
I am not saying that praying out loud together at the same time is wrong ... I am asking if the is Bibilcal proof theat it is okay. If you study prater, you will see most of the time people prayed alone ... and when it was out loud, there was only one person. When people prayed together (Acts 20:36) there was no mention they prayed out loud at the same time. |
