1 | Divine Healing, True or False? | Matthew | HeirofGod | 14874
I am sorry but I don't agree. God is about to do a BIG THING and the whole Church is a part of it. As far as getting by-I don't want to just get by. God is a god of abundance, if his people are barely getting by and he has abundantly, what does this say about our God. My pastor knows that God has a greater work for our entire ministry especially his evangelists. I know I am going to have to travel, be it in the U.S. or over seas. I don't want to have to travel this is not something I would have chosen to do but I will because I love him and want to see his Kingdom grow. We can't do most anything without money these days. God knows it, that's why we have jobs to help pay our bills. We also know that one day we are going to have to leave our jobs when he needs us to go out and preach. I don't have 800 dollars lying around to get over seas. I don't have 100 dollars lying around to go to Florida if I had to. IF he needed me to go, it would have to come from some offering he provided. The reason you don't know what I mean is you are comfortable with what you are doing. Well I am not comfortable with my church being empty, with living in the projects, and living paycheck to paycheck and still barely paying my bills. I know God is a provider, but he's also a rewarder. I know what God wants me to do because I've asked him. You might be comfortable sitting on a pew on Sunday maybe just saying amen, but I'm not. I want to see people saved, healed, delivered, rededicated, and holy. The more seeds I sow into the Kingdom of God the more I will see ministries bearing this kind of fruit continue to do so. I live what I know about God, I am trying him for everything I know. These are the last days and God is doing things that you never knew him to do. I don't know what he's spoken to you, but I do know what he has said to me and every word has come true even when I wasn't sure it was him he showed me. All of the comments towards my motives are wrong and all of your comments about seed time and harvest are wrong. Have you not read the parable of the sower, or when Jesus talks about sowing and reaping in Luke 6:31-38. I don't give to people because I want something from them. I give to GOd because he said to. I expect a harvest because he said to in 38. No it does not say sow and reap here, but the bible doesn't say Rapture in it either but we believe it will happen. If you sow judgement, people will judge you (you'll reap judgement). Give and it shall be given unto you. If I give people with no food some groceries or just a meal, then when I need the same God will repay me. He gives the increase not man. All I've been trying to tell the one person who actually asked the question is to Believe God for anything. Prosperity is true for those who have faith that God will prosper them. Divine healing is true for those who have faith that God will heal them. This is the last time I am going to answer on this subject because with your own beliefs in the way God can't open your eyes to the truth. Try him. I am moving up because I know who I am in God, I can't witness to how he provides and my project apartment is leaking, and the tiles are broken, and the paint is peeling, and the manager has not come to fix it. God is not going to let me live like that. I sowed so much time into helping other saints move into new houses, God is blessing me with a home through Habitat for Humanity. HE said he was going to furnish it because it was going to be a testimony for him and not something we have done. HFH has not said you've got the house, but we believe God because he spoke it. My husband sowed so much time in helping our pastor with remodeling the church that he has volunteered to help us build our home. We only have 5 faithfull members who are adults. The ministry is already 2 years old but God said he was going to fill up the church. We are all blessed. The power of God moves and the anointing is sweet. I love what God is doing in my life. HE has brought me from a horrible death, to a brand new holy ghost power filled life full of grace and peace. He's doing a quick work in me and my husband and our growth in the things of God require that we do more, come up higher. You can't fault us for doing what he says to. He moves on us to give and we do. I don't have a monthly pledge I give to ministries yet. I pay my tithes and offerings and we are blessed. The word says to much is given, much is required. He is requiring more out of our lives because he has given so much to us. Especially in anointing. I hope you will ask God for yourself if I am right about Seed-time and harvest. It's been with us since the beginning. Look at what he told Noah after the waters left from the Earth in Gen. 8:22. Planting and harvesting is a constant. Be it fruit or vegetables, the Word, or money. We need all three of these things naturally to survive. Love in Christ Kimberly |

2 | Divine Healing, True or False? | Matthew | charis | 14920
Dearest Kimberly, Blessings in Christ Jesus! Indeed, God is already doing a Big Thing, it is called the combined lives of His faithful servants. That is all He ever asks of us. In my church, we see salvation, family, healing, worship and fellowship. This is much more than the way you despitefully say 'getting by.' John's disciples asked Jesus if He was the Expected One. They wanted to see a Humungous Warrior King-Boss-Conqueror. What they saw was a Wimp. But Jesus said, 'And Jesus answered and said to them, "Go and report to John what you hear and see: the blind receive sight and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he who keeps from stumbling over Me."' Matthew 11:4-6 NASB. Jesus is more than a Conqueror! But He doesn't have to stoop to cheap antics and firecracker noise! (the kind that is explosive, but only for a moment!) However you put it, your attitude is one of expecting a Huge Spiritual Handout in exchange for your Bribe-giving to everyone who promises you a Huge Spiritual Handout. The Bible says apply yourself diligently to His service, AND be responsible in your life. Did it ever occur to you that working and saving diligently might be sowing for the harvest? You say your church is 'already 2 years old.' :-) What is your rush! Jesus told us not to be anxious, but your postings just drip with anxiety, disatisfaction, and delusion. My friend and forum colleague, I detect great faith and anticipation in your spirit. But your efforts are misguided, and your expectations are for a Jesus not spoken of in the Word. He is the Expected One. Be at peace! True, many churches and Christians are complacent, but your radicalism is the opposite pendulum swing, and equally far from God's holy intentions. 'Fruit or vegetables, the Word, or money... we need all these things to survive.' Please, don't put these together, as you mix apples and oranges. God has promised all that you need. What you WANT seems to be the same as the Gentiles. I write this in love, and sincerely pray that it is received in love. In Jesus' name, charis |
