1 | Divine Healing, True or False? | Matthew | HeirofGod | 13881
I think alot of people are misunderstanding me. The only way to get a harvest in any thing is to plant a seed. I didn't say that it had to be in a TV ministry. If I planted a seed in any of your ministries, I would get a harvest. If I planted any amount of money I would get a monetary harvest. If I planted souls into your ministry(by sending sinners into your church) I would reap winning more souls. The bible says that if you give it will be given unto you good measure pressed down shaken together and running over. The prosperity "doctrine" as everyone is calling it is just the fact that God's children will not be poor. NOt saying that you will be falling over rich (like Donald Trump), but that you will have enough for you to take care of your family and enough to give to others. If you are walking or taking the bus everyday but you are able to drive. Especially if you are a "King's kid", prosperity says that the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. Meaning that The enemy has taken from the Saints of God things like peace, love, salvation for our families, jobs, homes, and cars. This means that a sinner is out there driving a car that God meant for you to have you just need to recieve it. A sinner is out there living in your house, just recieve it. I'm not saying that it's going to be a thirty thousand dollar car, I'm just saying that if you don't have one, that's a need. These days you almost need a car to get around, especially if you have children. The Bible also says if you seed the Kingdom of God first all other things will be added. Your basic needs are met, but if you continue to yeild to God to fulfill your purpose then God will add all other things you want and need to you. Deu. 28 tells us all the blessings we get by being children of God. I told somebody else on here that I am not being money hungry and I'm not trying to be rich, All I want is what God has promised me. HE has promised it to all of us who abide by his laws. Prosperity is a gift of God to his people and a testimony to him. Everybody that's telling me to search the scriptures for myself must not be reading what i'm writing. I am not going by what TV preachers are telling me because to be honest I have only heard one of them preach prosperity and that's Creflo Dollar. I gave to TBN because I was prompted by the Holy Spirit. Have you ever given an offering to a church you visited? Were you ever blessed by a message you saw on TV? If so isn't that the same thing as what I did? I know some of you out there probably have given to feed the children, or the christian childrens fund or something like that. I have too. Having faithn that the money I send will help to the Glory of God. I don't do anything for me. I want to help further the Kingdom, so I do whatever is necessary. Not only to TV, but at my home church and surrounding churches. I hope all of you wake up and see what I'm saying is true not because somebody on TV said it but because IT IS SCRIPTURE. Now Again, since we are not going to agree on this subject and nobody is getting my point and have started saying my heart is in the wrong place then let's stop talking about it.
2 | Do you want riches of Smyrna or Laodecia | Matthew | Searcher56 | 14752
Kimberly, compare the church of Smyrna (Rev 2:9) with Laodecia (Rev 3:17). Which church do you are to be part of? You said, "The Bible says that if you give it will be given unto you good measure pressed down shaken together and running over." That is found in Luke 6:38. Read the context (vv 37-42) to see this is about judging, not prosperity. Tim has given you great information on Deu. 28. Do not be deceived. Read the context of the passages and understand them fully. Steve |

3 | Do you want riches of Smyrna or Laodecia | Matthew | HeirofGod | 14768
I want the riches of God that were promised to me. The Good treasure he said he would give. Look I don't give because I know i'll get it back, even though that makes it more comfortable to know God will provide for you, but I give because he says to. HE tells me where to give and I do it. If you are not giving then that's why you are not getting. Don't down me because I'm faithful. You didn't read. Jesus is telling them that what you sow you are going to reap. If you judge people you will be judged, If you forgive you will be forgiven, IF you give it shall be given. Read all of the 38 verse. After that verse he goes into a parable. 39-42 is about judging. Give and Judge are to different things.
