1 | Divine Healing, True or False? | Matthew | Norrie | 13609
I want to lodge a complaint here. I wrote this long response here, took a lot of time and effort, then I get this note: You have exceeded the maximum length of a note or question. The maximum length is 5000. Please shorten by at least 33 character(s). Please click back and try again... I clicked back and the whole thing is gone!!! I can't believe this! |

2 | Divine Healing, True or False? | Matthew | Makarios | 13639
Dear Norrie, This very same thing has happened to me many times at the Forum!! When I was posting with Webtv, I would lose an entire post almost every time that I would "click" on the Back button.. So I learned and trained myself to *make it right* the first time with Webtv! :) Now that I own a lightning fast computer, here is how I compose my messages: 1) If I feel that the "message length" will approach the 5,000 character limit, then I will always "cut and paste" everything that I have written to 'Notepad.' 2) I always have Notepad up and running as an accessory when I am at the Forum, even right now. Once I am in Notepad, then I can make adjustments in writing and spelling, etc.. 3) If it just so happens that I lose everything while flipping back and forth between screens, then I can just simply go back to the post that I was making a reply to and "cut and paste"! This is an example of some of the techniques that you can develop to preserve your work.. If you do try my method of "cutting and pasting", then make sure that your computer has enough memory to keep doing this over and over again.. 64MB of RAM on a computer is good, but you need to "keep an eye" on the applications that you are using at the same time. If you have 128MB, 256MB (like me) or 384MB, then you should have no problems or worries whatsoever of seeing your computer 'crash' in the middle of a 'long-winded' post! :) Blessings, Nolan |
