Not every Christian has died of a disease. I don't know where you get the knowledge to back up that sort of claim, but I assure you it's false. The men that have taught me this "nonsense" are still alive, many after 20 and 30 years in the ministry. In fact Kenneth E. Hagin the "ring leader," as you would probably refer to him, teaches one of my classes every Tuesday and Thursday. He's no less healthy than any other man I know. Also, I'm not calling you a liar but I have a hard time believing that you could read a book like Christ the Healer and still have the opinion on healing that you have showed in your posts. As for Christianity in Crisis, I'll look that one up. I have a lot of reading to do for my classes, so it may be a while until I get around to it, but fair is fair. What translation of the Bible are you using? Jesified |

Jesified Go look at the death certificates there is a disease or reason for death in each case. None that I'm aware of say, cause of death "nothing". Read the book then we will discuss Hagin. I read Christ the Healer for the same reason you read it. At the time I bought into it lock stock and barrel. Then the Holy Spirit showed me the rest of the story. Praise the Lord! I no longer had to worry every time I got sick what sin had I committed and didn’t confess. I don’t have to lie when some one asks me how I feel I can say lousy and not worry that I might somehow open the door for an attack. I'm free. I learned to trust God. I don't try to make sense out everything that happens now I just believe God is sufficient to see me through it. You know what? He is!!! Praise God. Since this forum is sponsored by Lockman I quote all Bible references from NASB updated. In personal study I use KJV, NKJV, NASB, NLT, ESV and an interlinear bible. If I'm teaching I use NKJV or NLT. For personal reading I usually use NKJV or the ESV. I think I have read every major English translation. I refuse to consider the NIV because of Zondervan's decision to bring out their new Bible and I threw out my Living Bible because it was so sick. By the way I guessed right you are Rhema. EdB |
