Thanks for the suggestion. I see you have more 'breath' :) But this is not an answer. Sure the conjunction can be used as a transition, but it is not son in Acts 2:38 where two commands are given. Scripture ... Mat 28:19; Mar 7:4; Luk 11:38; Act 2:38; Heb 6:2, 9:10 ... disciplerami, did you get a chance to read this? It doesn't matter if there were tables. In Mark 7:4 and Hebrews 9:10, the word is baptismou;ß (baptismos). It is translated baptisms in Hebrews 6:2. This connects the purifcation of the OT with NT baptism ... by washing. Baptismos is a noun masculine. It is from the word found in Luke 11:38, which is baptivzw (baptizo) ... the same word found Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38 and 76 other places. Baptizo is verb. Take note of the differences in the parts of speech. Searcher |
